Purpose

The Michael Kreith Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to honor the memory of a remarkable man who lived a challenging life with courage and dignity. Mike was known for his kindness, generosity, compassion for others, and his wonderful sense of humor. His many talents seemed to know no bounds, and he dove fully into an incredible range of passions throughout his life.

The Michael Kreith Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to children who display the qualities that Mike held so dear: commitment, dedication, pursuit of knowledge, compassion, an innate acceptance of others, and a love of cultural diversity. These renewable annual awards are in the amount of $1,000 to one child or $500 to one boy and one girl with the goal of assisting with expenses their families incur in the support of reaching their performance tennis potential.
